How To Reach Kerala?
According to our tour plan Firstly you need to reach Kochi. Kocchi is 549 km away from Bengaluru and it takes around 10-11 hours.
If you are coming from Chennai then it will take around 12-13 hours and the distance is around 692 km.
There is also a railway station in Kochi and which is known as Ernakulam railway station.
Trains directly coming here from all major railway stations from India, like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Howrah, Ahmadabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and also direct trains from many railway stations.
If your train is not coming directly then you can come through change the train.
You will also get some direct buses from some cities of Tamilnadu and Karnataka.
So you will also come through these buses.

So, now check the tour plan to visit the best tourist places in Kerala.
Day 1
On day 1 you will be in Kochi, so you will visit places in Kochi.
You can visit fort Kochi, marine drive and if you want to enjoy the beach then you can go to Cherai beach In the evening time.
You can visit local markets and you will stay here.
Day 2
On Day 2 you will go Kochi to Munnar. The distance from Kochi to Munnar is 130 km and it will take around 4-5 hours.
So, leave Kochi for Munnar in the early morning like 5-6 am. and you will reach at 11 am.
Then you can visit the Munnar tea garden, parks, and markets. This will be your Day 2 plan and you will be staying in Munnar.
Day 3
On Day 3, today you will do Munnar sightseen. You can visit Pothamedu viewpoint, Mattupetty dam, Blossom International Park and Tata tea garden, and many more places.
Book a car for sightseen and it costs around Rs. 1500 for Munnar sightseeing.
This will be your day 3 plan and you will stay in Munnar.
Day 4
On day 4 you will go from Munnar to Thekkady It will take around 3 hours from Munnar to Thekkady and the distance is around 90 KM.
After reaching Thekkady you can visit spice gardens, local markets, and some sightseen.

Day 5
On day 5 you will go to Periyar national park of Thekkady Your full day will be spent here and you can explore in Rs. 2000 for 2 people but it doesn’t include activities.
You can enjoy activities like elephant ride bamboo rafting, and boat ride, etc. These activities have a separate cost.
If you are enjoying bamboo rafting then it costs around Rs.1500 per person.
Day 6
On day 6 you will go from Thekkady to Thiruvananthapuram And distance is around 200 KM and it will take around 6-7 hours to reach Thiruvananthapuram.
You will reach noon and you will not able to visit any places. So you can visit temples and markets.
Day 7
On day 7 you live in Thiruvananthapuram and you can visit the lighthouse, Kovalam beach.

Day 8
On day 8 you will go from Thiruvananthapuram to Alleppey Allepey is also known as Alappuzha.
It will take 4-5 hours to reach Allepey and Allepey is 146 Km away from Thiruvananthapuram.
After reaching Alleppey you can visit the sunset point, beach, some local places, and markets.
You can stay here on the houseboat. It costs around 5000-8000 per night for 2 people.
So if you have a budget then you can stay in a houseboat This is your day 8 plan.
Day 9
On Day 9 you can visit Alleppey beach, Marari beach and after that, you can visit the lighthouse of Alleppey and some local sightseen places.
So it will be your Alleppey day 9 plan.
Day 10
On day 10 will be your return from Alleppey to Kochi. Distance from Alleppey to Kochi is around 53 Km and it will take around 1-2 hours to reach Kochi.

The main cost is divided into 3 sections Hotel, Meals, and Conveyance.
Your hotel cost can be Rs.1500-2000 per day for 2 adults. I have considered Rs.2000 for the hotel.
The second expense is meals that would be Rs. 7000 for 2 persons and 10 days and the third expense is the conveyance that would be Rs.12700 for 2 people.
I have calculated the total cost of conveyance here for 10 days. and all calculations I show here.
When you will go from Munnar to Thekkady, you will use the car to reach Thekkady. and for other cities, you can use the bus to reach your destination.
So this is your all calculations of conveyance of Rs.12700.
So now talk about per-person cost Per-person cost for Hotel is Rs.10000 for 10 days.
And the second expense is meals and costs around Rs.3500 for 10 days and the third expense is a conveyance and it costs around Rs. 6350 for 10 days.
So the total per person cost is Rs. 19850 for 10 days tour of Kerala. around Rs. 20000.
