Kerala style buttermilk is known as Sambaram or Morum Vellam which is mostly consumed in the summer season.


500 g Thick curd 3 cups Water 1 teaspoon salt 1 Green chili Chopped 15-20 Curry leaves Chopped 1 inch Ginger Thinly julienned

First, you need to take curd and whisk curd till it is smooth and creamy then add water and mix well.

Now you need to add salt, green chili, curry leaves, and ginger to the curd mixture and mix well once again.

Now keep it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving for the flavors to get infused.
